Cross-cultural Understanding Presentation and Tour to Wakayama Prefecture (August 6-7, 2015) [9月 02,2015 ]

The Maple students went to Wakanoura in Wakayama Prefecture. This two-day trip served as both Cross-cultural Understanding Presentation (an opportunity to present the results of work done on the cultural comparisons of each country) as well as study tour.

The first day was a day for presentations at Shiokaze-so, a Japanese style inn, after which the students went to the nearby Bandoko Teien ( a Japanese park ) and spent the night at Shiokaze-so. They enjoyed their dinner at the inn’s banquet hall.

The second day was spent walking along Kataonami Kaigan ( a beach), visiting Kimiidera ( a temple founded about 1,250 years ago) and Wakayama Castle.

Not only did the Maple students enjoy learning about the cultural differences between each country but they also made many memories during their last Maple Program study tour.
